Change at our Branch Office Brussels

After the summer break, there was a change at our Branch Office Brussels. We had to say goodbye to Kilian Trenkle. Kilian has accompanied us in the past three months in the project “European Digital Education Hub” where he gained valuable and practical insights into the “European Digital Education Plan” and its projects. Working together with the consortium partners and the EU commission enabled Kilian to uncover the European sphere and to acquire initial practical knowledge and skills relevant to his studies in political and administrative science at the University Konstanz. We thank you for your great support and wish you all the best!

At the same time we want to welcome Leandro Fangmann. Leandro studied philosophy and history at Goethe University Frankfurt and, after a period at King’s College London, came to TU Berlin, where he is currently completing his master’s thesis in the field of the history of technology. He has already gained experience in the field of science policy and management as an assistant at the chair and in the Open Access/Open Science department of De Gruyter Verlag. From September, he will be joining the DAAD’s Brussels office as an intern and is looking forward to seeing how national and international higher education and research policy is shaped here in Brussels on a daily basis. Welcome!
