Towards comprehensive mobility approaches: marrying the inclusion, sustainability and the digital agendas

This year, the annual membership event of the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA), jointly hosted by the DAAD, Vluhr, Czelo and Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills, takes place on 8 September in a hybrid format on the question of how to deliver on inclusive, green and digital mobility.

The event aims to connect the dots between the agendas on inclusion, sustainability, and digitalisation in and through mobility: How to make international student mobility more inclusive? How to reduce the carbon footprint of physical mobility and create greener options? How to develop good-quality, digitally enhanced models, that complement existing formats?

Together with speakers from the European Commission, ACA members and networks of higher education institutions, DAAD representative Michael Hörig will discuss the potential tensions between these objectives and try to identify answers to arising questions. The idea is to propose constructive ideas and explore future paths for comprehensive mobility approaches in a joint effort.

Registrations are open until Friday, 3 September 2021.
