Defending Academic Freedom by Supporting Students at Risk
On 16 November 2021, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) together with the Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) and Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) were inviting to a joint event to tackle the issue of students, who are at risk of being deprived of their educational right. The event aimed to inform about already existing support programmes on national level, give a voice to students, who benefitted from these programmes, as well as to kindle a vivid discussion on possibilities to complement, coordinate and expand the support for students at risk at European level.
Prior to the event, the three host organisations published a joint proposal for actions at European level in support of students at risk: Joint Proposal – Europe4StudentsAtRisk [PDF 294.55 KB].
